- Which product has right ingredients?
- Which product suits your skin?
- How skin product should we choose?
- Does skin products actually works?
- How many products can we use?
All your answers are available which is based on studies and consultations with skin specialists and skin surgeons. In this study, you will know which product is beneficial for your skin. And which chemicals are used in your skincare products. The information which skincare brands gives us are not always based on truth. There are lots of people who are not fully informed. They believe them and buy these skin products and later these products will not benefit them. We will provides you the information that whenever you will buy any skin product. You should have knowledge that which is suitable and beneficial and you will buy smartly from any skincare brand.
Claim 1: skin tightening or lifting:
Mostly skincare brands claims that their skincare products make your skin tighten and lifter but this is not true. Skin products will never make your skin tightened because sagging is not only because of skin. There are layers under the skin which are tissue, muscles, then ligaments and bones. All these things are become saggy with age. So skincare only treats your upper skin, it will not treat your inner layers. Skincare products is only for care of your upper skin. Once your skin become saggy then you should go for a treatment that is through a proper surgical face life.
Claim 2: Removal of dark circles after some days:
Skincare brands claims that their product will remove dark circles if you use their skincare products for 5 days or 10 days or 15 then it will remove your dark circles permanently, this is a false claim because dark circles have different causes and only one product will not treat it properly.
What if you have dark circles since your birth and your family has too then how can a single product remove your dark circles within some days. There are different causes of dark circles, sometimes, they are under eyes bags, puffiness, black shade, hollow eyes which is not possible to treat with one product. Some skincare products have caffeine which is good only for tired eyes such as stress. If any brand is claiming that all causes can be treated with their skincare products then this is not true.
Claim no 3: chemical free products:
Everything around us has chemicals like our environment also a mixture of chemicals. If you drink water that is H2O, it is also a chemical. Chemical is not a bad thing, there are so many chemicals in our nature like harmful herbs. Even though these herbs are natural but have harmful effects, like different brands claiming that their products are chemical free or they don’t use chemicals in their products so that’s is not true at all. All skincare products have chemicals in them so don’t be foolish again by hearing these claims from any skincare brands or company.
Claim 4: We have natural products:
There is no limit for natural like there are so many things which are made in labs like Botox but it is very useful and we also use bacteria for many it. If any skincare brands claims that they use all natural then this is not based on truth because some natural things may also harmful for your skin, or may harsh for your skin like it produce irritation or redness.
Anyone can say that I have natural products but that does not mean it is useful for your skin or have no any harmful effect. If it suits your skin then it doesn’t matter it is natural or unnatural.
Claim 5: Parabens are dangerous:
Many skincare brands claim that parabens are dangerous. If we use specific amount of parabens then it will work as a preservative and they are safe but it doesn’t mean that the thing is more safe to use if we increase the amount of parabens. Recent researches claims that they are poisonous but after more studies it proves that parabens are considered safe for use in cosmetics and other skin products but within the recommended quantity or doses of parabens. and if any product have parabens written on it that doesn’t mean that the product is dangerous. If parabens will be use in specific amount or in correct amount then they will be very useful for you.
Claim 6: Collagen or glutathione creams:
Mostly skincare brands use there creams as marketing by saying that they restore your collagens. If you take collagens orally or in injective form then it will be effective and beneficial. But using collagens in creams or in masks has not give you benefit by applying on face. Because the molecule of collagen is bigger and it doesn’t go deeper in your skin and give proper effect. But some people are so conscious about building their collagen because collagen make you youthful that’s why many skin brands write collagen on their creams but that doesn’t mean they are effective. So if you want restore your collagen then take it orally or in injective form.
Claim 7: Imported products:
Many people think that imported products are very beneficial and effective. If any skincare brands are saying that their products are imported but has not mentioned ingredients properly on products, then they are not safe. peoples buy these products by only hearing that these are imported products that doesn’t mean it is safe for you.
Whenever you buy any imported products, firstly check the label that the ingredients which you are looking for have in this product or not then buy it. Only imported label doesn’t make thing good or bad it’s depend upon quality and ingredients.
Claim 8: removing pores on skin:
If any skincare brands claiming that if you use our products then it will remove your pores permanently, this is a false statement. We can not remove pores permanently they are natural and they produce oil on skin and contribute our skin health. Yes it looks bad when we have large pores but we can reduce or minimize the size of pores but doesn’t remove them totally. Our facial skin need pores to maintain its health. You don’t want to get rid of pores totally but yes you can minimize them. Pores are very important for your skin and if any company claiming that their product remove them permanently then it is a complete lie.
Claim 9: large amount of products for results:
If any skincare brands claiming that you have to use these 10 to 20 products for best results then this is not true. You don’t need so many products for your skincare. If you find 4 to 5 products that works for you and you need to stick with them and you need to keep using with them for a long period of time for best results. By changing products again and again or adding so many products in your skincare may also cause skin irritation or may damaged your skin Barrier.
By using so many products steps in your skincare at a time may react on your skin and you don’t know which product has that allergic reaction. Every skin has its own concern and you should choose products according to them.
So the only access of the skincare is:
- Morning routine
- Cleanser
- Moisturizer
- Sunscreen
- You may also add antioxidants
- Night routine
- Cleaner
- Moisturizer
- You may also add retinols
You can do exfoliation once a week, and that is the skincare routine. If you have pigmentation on your skin or have large pores then you may add 1 additional product.
Claim 10: medicated creams:
This is not important that the medicated creams are safe then other skin products but yes if you have any disease or any kind of swelling where you have to use any ingredient in excess amount then you can go for a medicated products. But if you want only for skin Care then you don’t need a medicated skincare. You can use your regular skincare and that is good enough.
Conclusion:
All claims are based on skincare brands marketing to increase their sales but you should go for those products which are based on ingredients used and your skin needs. Do care of your skin with right products.
